Our Team is Growing!

We are delighted to announce that our team is growing! Following the blog post on balance, We wanted to provide all of our readers with the different aspects of balance that we mentioned.  One of the most important things in a truly balanced life is healthy eating.  We now have the pleasure of welcoming Zakiya of Zakiya's Kitchen to the Life of A Planner Team.  Zakiya will be providing us with monthly recipe features and we cannot wait to share them with you!

Here are a few words from our new fabulous contributor:

Hey everyone! My name is Zakiya - I'm a registered nurse living in Vancouver, who is extremely passionate about health, wellness, and nutrition.  In my early twenties (I'm now 27), I began to realize what a strong connection food had to my physical and mental well-being.  I realized that I was extremely sensitive to gluten, refined sugar, and dairy, so I removed them from my diet and started to get creative in the kitchen. I have been gluten, dairy, and refined sugar free for almost 6 years now (with many slip-ups here and there, of course - I'm only human!), and I'm SO happy with the positive impact that this lifestyle has had on my overall health.  In February 2017, after years of procrastination, I finally decided to start my blog, "Zakiya's Kitchen". This is a platform for me to share health and wellness tips, delicious recipes, and my thoughts on various topics (i.e. self care, nutrition, product reviews), and I couldn't be happier to have the opportunity to promote health, positivity, and well-being!
